Aperture 3 was just announce a few days ago, in the past I’ve been trying to incorporate Aperture into my workflow somehow. Aperture 2 was mainly used to sort & rate my “keeper” images. It did a solid job; the star rating system, loupe tool was a key, image navigator was phenomenal. Shooting tethered was non existent since the previous version wasn’t compatible with most recent DSLR’s….the rest was left to be done in Photoshop/Final Cut Pro/Lightroom. Apple is stating 200+ new features in version 3. It supports most cameras supposedly even handles HD videos, you could Import, add music, scrub video, trim clips, so no need to export to Final Cut Pro. Hmmm sounds promising, lets see how much time it could shave off my processing (turnover) time….brb

You can click over to see the homie Chase Jarvis doing work with it HERE.
